I have never been to Wheat State Retreat Center. I had a very positive experience there. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a retreat venue. The campus was nice, and the buildings we used worked perfect for our retreat and group. Close access to the lake was a big positive.
Holly and Travis were exceedingly helpful in person. Justin was always very quick to respond and easy to work with prior to the event. Thankful for the helpful and supportive staff!
Travis was super helpful with anything we needed for the weekend. You guys are all doing a great job!
One of the really great things about the experience was that all staff members seemed to really enjoy their jobs and were great in their hard work and people skills.
We were so thankful for the time at Wheat State and the intentionality of the staff. We can't wait to have camp again next summer.
Holly is exceptional in her handling and accommodating the needs of of our group. She is always friendly and helpful. Even when she can not accommodate what we asking she says no in a way that is pleasant.
The dining crew was super fun, as always. Can’t wait to come back next year! Had a blast with the students and encountered God in quite a few different ways while there! I hope someday I get to see the fruits of my labor
