Wheat State Retreat Center is owned and operated by the Assemblies of God-Kansas District. AGK’s focus is 1,408,663 unclaimed souls in the state of Kansas. The aim is to make Kansas the easiest place in North America to experience Jesus and His forgiving love. The strategy is strengthening and establishing effective Pentecostal leaders and churches.
KYM is the youth ministry for the AGK district. KYM exists for two primary reasons. First, to assist the local church in giving students an opportunity to experience a Pentecostal encounter with God and to connect students with each other and build them in their faith so we can send them into their world to win their friends for the Lord. Second, we want to resource the youth pastors/leaders of our churches to facilitate their ministry, connect them with each other, establish teams to reach the entire state effectively and encourage each leader and church to reach their entire community of students with the Gospel.
